Kinder können Kunst
Ein Projekt für Kinder aus der Ukraine (und ihre Eltern)
(17. bis 31. Oktober 2022)
Der Angriffskrieg Russlands gegen die Ukraine wird mit unverminderter Härte weitergeführt.
Aus der Ukraine geflüchtete Kinder haben im „Atelier im Schlachthaus“ die Gelegenheit, sich frei von aktuellen Zwängen kreativ zu entfalten. Selbstvertändlich dürfen auch ihre Mütter oder Väter an der Aktion teilnehmen.
An jedem der 7 Nachmittage stelle ich ihnen dazu ein neues künstlerisches Medium vor. Damit werden die Kinder anschließend selbst ein Kunstwerk erstellen. Das wird sie nicht nur begeistern, weil sie mit jedem Tag etwas Neues kennenlernen. Sie lernen im Umgang mit Farben und anderen Materialen auch sich selbst immer wieder neu kennen. Und sie können, indem sie so immer wieder neu vollständig in die Kunst einsteigen, alles andere um sie herum vollständig vergessen.

Children Can Do Art
A project for children from Ukraine (and their parents)

Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine continues with undiminished severity.
In the „Atelier im Schlachthaus“ children who have fled the Ukraine will have the opportunity to develop themselves creatively, free from current constraints. Of course, their mothers or fathers can also take part in the activities.
On each of the 7 afternoons I will introduce a new artistic medium. The children will then create a work of art themselves. This will not only excite them because they will learn something new every day. In dealing with colors and other materials, they’ll get to know themselves new again and again. And by immersing themselves completely into the art over and over again, they may completely forget about everything else around them.
